Our team

Our team is our strength! Today, we have 12 full-time marquetry artisans working in our workshops. Some come straight from woodworking schools, while others have undergone complete professional retraining; all have been trained in-house.

Lison

Pauline

As Lison's youngest daughter, Pauline earned her degree in international marketing in New York before joining the Ateliers in 2014. Today, she oversees all workshop management.

Shan

Hailing from Sri Lanka, Shan worked alongside Lison for 28 years. Trained entirely by her, he became her right-hand man and workshop manager, while passionately leading the monthly workshops on straw marquetry.

Clara

With experience in internal communication and administrative management, Clara joined the Ateliers in January 2022 to put her skills to work in administration and human resources.

Félis

Félis made a career change by joining the Ateliers in November 2020. Holding a CAP in cabinetmaking from the Boulle school, he previously worked in a resourcery, focusing on upcycling.

Jean Marie

After starting at the workshop in the early 2000s alongside another job, Jean-Marie joined the team full-time in April 2021. Previously collaborating with Native American artists and artisans specializing in beadwork, he now enriches the workshop with his expertise.

Demba

Integrated into the team in November 2018 through the Baamasso association, Demba underwent comprehensive training at the Ateliers, demonstrating his skills and dedication since then.

François

Among the longest-serving employees, François joined the team in 2016. A former furniture restorer and conservator, he now shares his expertise by teaching the history and expertise of antique furniture at the EAC school.

Nandor

Holding a degree in artisanal design from ISCID, Nandor joined the Ateliers in October 2021, bringing his creativity and talent to enrich the team.

Aurore

With a CAP and BMA in cabinetmaking from La Bonne Graine school, Aurore joined the Ateliers in March 2021. She regularly puts her craftsmanship to use by meticulously and passionately fulfilling furniture orders.

Lauriane

After participating in a workshop in 2020, Lauriane joined the team and has been responsible for samples for a year and a half. She holds a CAP in marquetry.

Béatrice

Passionate about straw marquetry after attending workshops, including at Lison De Caunes Ateliers, Béatrice joined the team in March 2020. She enriches the workshop with her experience gained in the advertising and packaging design world.

Samira

Samira has been working in wood marquetry since the age of 15 in Iran, where she was also a marquetry teacher for children. Upon arriving in France, she completed training at La Fabrique Nomade before joining our workshops in November 2023.

Marlène

After 14 years in the social sector, Marlène began a career change at the vocational high school in Château-Chinon. After an internship in our workshops, Marlène joined our team in November 2023.

Ziggy

Since 2016, Ziggy, the workshop's mascot, has brought a touch of cheerfulness and conviviality to the team!
