In the office and living room of a private residence decorated by DING DONG, we created a marquetry of straw in the form of a pattern. Sunwhere the golden reflections of straw add warmth and sparkle to the space.

We created the straw marquetry walls of a private residence decorated by Alberto Pinto, a luminous showcase for the owner's objets d'art.

Forty years ago, we decorated the entrance to a Parisian flat with a straight straw marquetry, which gave off a warm, classic atmosphere.

Designed by Peter Marino, the Quintessence Suite at Cheval Blanc in Paris elegantly unfolds over two floors in a vibrant atmosphere that pays homage to Art Deco and the legendary artist couple Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. The majestic rooms are adorned with straw marquetry walls created in our workshops, and punctuated by works of art and custom-designed crafts.

We are proud and delighted to have collaborated with Martin Brudnizki on the recently inaugurated La Monique restaurant at the Oceana hotel in Santa Monica. We clad all the walls of the restaurant in green straw marquetry, decorated with a geometric pattern that catches the light and makes the space vibrate.

For the HENRI Alpes showroom in Annecy, we created sliding panels in straw marquetry that subtly conceal a television. This project combines HENRI's expertise in top-of-the-range technology with the poetry of our know-how, in a space designed like a flat, the fruit of joint work with the craftsmen of the Par Excellence collective.

For Brian J. McCarthy and his team, we had the pleasure of creating elegant wall panels in straw marquetry for a sumptuous New York flat.

 

In Paris, in partnership with Studio Parisien, we created two centrepieces that can be seen as soon as you enter the shop. The first appears as a large plant frame, worked in subtle green motifs. The light effects of the material highlight a plaster bas-relief by the Del Boca studio. The second work, characterised by its play of materials in soft, golden tones, enlivens the décor with a coral straw marquetry, featuring the silhouettes of a panther, the emblematic symbol of the Maison Cartier, and the Eiffel Tower, in homage to the City of Light.

For a project led by OITOEMPONTO, we used straw marquetry to dress the doors of a pair of cabinets in a geometric pattern where interlocking blocks play with the orientation of the straw strands to create visual contrasts and rhythms.

We are delighted and proud to contribute to the launch of the heritage brand DOUCET Paris designed by Garce Dimofski with the lamp Aragon whose base we have covered with straw marquetry. This piece is available exclusively on The Invisible Collection website.

We created a magnificent double sliding door in straw marquetry in one of the suites at the Castelfalfi hotel in Tuscany, decorated by Affine Design. The straw marquetry unfolds in an undulating pattern of coloured layers, reminiscent of a hilly landscape, and diffuses rays, evoking the sunlight on the horizon.

For the Cartier shop in Lisbon, we created two exceptional pieces in straw marquetry. The first, visible from the entrance, takes the form of a wall panel featuring a motif inspired by the Lisbon flag, in which two lacquer panthers, signed by the Midavaine workshop, are inlaid. The second work is a multi-material fresco incorporating straw marquetry in sunbursts and volutes.

We had the privilege of creating a decorative panel in straw marquetry for the Cartier shop in Bordeaux, thanks to the trust placed in us by the G4Group agency. This project skilfully blends straight straw and sunburst motifs with mother-of-pearl inlays created by Finemarq.

We had the honour of collaborating with illustrator Koralie Carmen Flores to design an exceptional case for an outstanding whisky, The Balvenie Rare Marriages 25 Year Old. The work, made up of five panels hinged like a folding screen, pays tribute to the distillery's rare crafts: growing and malting barley, boilermaking, cooperage and cellar mastery. Each panel features an exclusive motif reflecting these skills, and when they open they reveal Scottish landscapes in the distillery's characteristic colours. Our collaboration, enhanced by the expertise of French cabinetmaker Benoît Marcu, has created a showcase worthy of the whisky it houses.

Our workshops created straw marquetry pieces for this camellia-shaped chandelier, inspired by the delicate lines of nature. This creation, the fruit of a subtle alliance between art and craftsmanship, combines the finesse of straw with the expertise of the Maison Delisle, where the precision of the chasing combines with the elegance of engraved glass and alabaster.

For the architectural firm RDAI, we created magnificent decorative panels in geometric patterns, designed for the renovation of the Maison Hermès flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York. Their interplay of lines lends a singular elegance to the spaces on the ground and ground floors.

We created magnificent panels for the Cartier boutique in Chicago, in collaboration with architects Moinard Bétaille. The gradation of colour illustrates the expertise of our craftsmen and reflects the timeless elegance of Cartier.

We created a large panel in straw marquetry, an allegory of the sun whose natural reflections are enhanced by discreet lighting around the brass hoop. The motif continues on the doors of a piece of furniture, where it highlights the emblematic Guerlain bee.

As part of the Maison Parisienne anniversary exhibition at the Hall des Maréchaux in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Florence Guillier Bernard has brought together fifteen artists to create a series of original works. For the occasion, our workshops, in collaboration with the Ombre, Mirage agency, have come up with a triptych of modular tables. Assembled or disassembled, they form a totem pole that exalts the elevation of a magnolia flower, appearing in silhouette, volume and hologram.

We created a sumptuous panel in straw marquetry and white wood inserts in collaboration with Finemarq for a Cartier boutique in China decorated by Moinard & Betaille.

Our workshops created a straw marquetry headboard and tabletop for the Le Meurice hotel, under the creative direction of the architectural duo Lally & Berger.

Our workshops have teamed up with Swedish designer Louise Liljencrantz to reinterpret one of her iconic creations: the coffee table Cloud. The result of this collaboration is the Chunky Cloud Sky and mini side tables Cloud Noire and WheatThese are the perfect balance between the subtle nuances of the straw marquetry and the satin and gloss finishes of the wood.

Maison Cartier has completely renovated its iconic building on Rue de la Paix. Over five floors, the agencies Moinard Betaille, Studio Parisien and Laura Gonzalez have deployed their creativity. We were honoured to contribute by creating several exceptional pieces in straw marquetry.

For a penthouse overlooking the Eiffel Tower, Lebanese architects Gatserelia Design called on our expertise for the master bedroom, creating a cocoon of softness.

The know-how of our workshops was expressed in the creation of wall panels and a cabinet in straw marquetry. These unique pieces give the entrance and living room of this Paris flat, decorated by Walid Sfeir, a strong, refined identity.

Some twenty years ago, we created the straw marquetry for this magnificent bedroom, decorated by Jacques Grange.

With the sun as a common thread, Pierre Marie sublimates this star and imagines a rich repertoire of ornamentation around it, such as the evocation of wheat, symbol of light, abundance and the working of straw. A unique piece, "The Sun Box"is also the source of inspiration for a tale written by Ahmed Terbaoui in osmosis with Pierre Marie's poetic universe. From east to west, a little boy searches for the sun until he meets "the woman with gold in her hands" in a wheat field... A wonderful allusion to Lison de Caunes.

Interior design duo Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel called on our expertise to inlay the dining room alcoves of several suites in the Bulgari hotel in Paris, due to open in 2021, with straw.

Interior designer Yann Monfort called on our expertise to create intimate straw marquetry alcoves in the heart of the Tailleventthe emblematic institution of the Parisian gastronomic scene.

For the Cartier boutique in Geneva, the Moinard Bétaille agency asked our workshops to create exceptional pieces in straw marquetry.
We designed a sumptuous wall decoration, featuring lacquered panthers made by Atelier Midavaine.
This ensemble is complemented by an imposing double sliding door and wall panels with a sunburst motif, enhancing the boutique's VIP lounge.

The Pierre-Yves Rochon agency chose our workshops to create straw marquetry wall panels for several suites in The Woodward hotel in Geneva.

We worked with Delisle to create this pedestal table, which combines straw marquetry in a sunburst motif with a sculptural bronze base.

The result of our collaboration with Mydriaz, the suspension Loïe is available in an exceptional version in brass and straw marquetry, made in our workshops. Inspired by the aerial movements of dance costumes and a tribute to Loïe Fuller, it poetically reinterprets the lightness of matter in motion.

For the Parisian restaurant Marsan of Hélène Darroze, we worked with Gardera-D Architecture to create a reception desk dressed in straw marquetry.

To celebrate the launch of the Palmes d'OrNicolas Feuillatte called on our expertise to create an exceptional straw marquetry box.

Dressed in straw marquetry, the foot of the lamp Medusa is adorned with a 'volute' motif developed in our workshops. The natural shine of the straw animates its undulations with changing reflections, giving the decor the illusion of three-dimensional volume.

We have created a three-leaf folding screen in straw marquetry, in shades of colour, designed by Cristina Celestino for her project Caffè Cucchipresented at Milan Design Week in 2019.

In collaboration with Maria Pergay, we created several unique pieces. The result is a metal chair with a leopard-print 'animal skin' in straw marquetry, a wardrobe in the shape of a kimono, a lamp with cloud motifs and a sculptural work in the shape of a cushion.

To celebrate the 160th anniversary of "L'eau Impériale", the emblematic fragrance contained in the famous bottle adorned with bees, Guerlain invited nine Masters of Art to create a unique work of art around a one-litre bottle. These creations, which bear witness to the creativity, passion, mastery and excellence of each craftsman, make up an exceptional exhibition presented in the Guerlain boutique on the Champs-Élysées in early 2014.

Our workshops chose to design and produce an exceptional case, entirely dressed in straw marquetry, echoing the lines of the bee bottle: "The Theatre. Its interior, in empire blue straw, is adorned with a bee motif in yellow straw, while its exterior is decorated with blue festoons, the hallmark of the House of Guerlain.
