This creation is part of our long-standing collaboration with the company, for whom we create straw marquetry wall decorations around the world.

Cheval Blanc - Paris

Designed by Peter Marino, the Quintessence Suite at Cheval Blanc in Paris elegantly unfolds over two floors in a vibrant atmosphere that pays homage to Art Deco and the legendary artist couple Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. The majestic rooms are adorned with straw marquetry walls created in our workshops, and punctuated by works of art and custom-designed crafts.

We are proud and delighted to have collaborated with Martin Brudnizki on the recently inaugurated La Monique restaurant at the Oceana hotel in Santa Monica. We clad all the walls of the restaurant in green straw marquetry, decorated with a geometric pattern that catches the light and makes the space vibrate.

For the HENRI Alpes showroom in Annecy, we created sliding panels in straw marquetry that subtly conceal a television. Cartier Galeries Lafayette - Paris, France

In Paris, in partnership with Studio Parisien, we created two centrepieces that can be seen as soon as you enter the shop. The first appears as a large plant frame, worked in subtle green motifs. The light effects of the material highlight a plaster bas-relief by the Del Boca studio. The second work, characterised by its play of materials in soft, golden tones, enlivens the décor with a coral straw marquetry, featuring the silhouettes of a panther, the emblematic symbol of the Maison Cartier, and the Eiffel Tower, in homage to the City of Light.

Hotel Castelfalfi - Tuscany, Italy

We created a magnificent double sliding door in straw marquetry in one of the suites at the Castelfalfi hotel in Tuscany, decorated by Affine Design. The straw marquetry unfolds in an undulating pattern of coloured layers, reminiscent of a hilly landscape, and diffuses rays, evoking the sunlight on the horizon.

Cartier - Lisbon, Portugal

For the Cartier shop in Lisbon, we created two exceptional pieces in straw marquetry. The first, visible from the entrance, takes the form of a wall panel featuring a motif inspired by the Lisbon flag, in which two lacquer panthers, signed by the Midavaine workshop, are inlaid. The second work is a multi-material fresco incorporating straw marquetry in sunbursts and volutes.
